With a special interest in multiple urologic areas, including kidney stones and benign prostate hyperplasia, as well as extensive training in robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques, Urology Care Alliance welcomes new physicians Dr. Deep Trivedi and Dr. Akwasi Boateng.
Dr. Deep Trivedi has joined UCA Lawrenceville. He is board-certified in Urology with a special interest in multiple urologic areas including stone disease, benign prostate hyperplasia, erectile dysfunction/low T, incontinence, cancer and sexual/reproductive health. He also has extensive training in robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques, including the DaVinci surgical system. He focuses on providing compassionate, comprehensive urologic solutions for patients.
Dr. Trivedi’s graduated cum laude with a BA in the Biological Basis of Behavior as well as a BS Economics from The Wharton School. He went on to complete his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2006, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Trivedi attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry where he completed an internship and residency in surgery, and a residency in urology.
Dr. Akwasi Boateng joined UCA GU Surgeons in Old Bridge. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York, University at Albany, NY in 2006. He later received his doctorate degree from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University, in Syracuse, NY in 2010. He completed his urology residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Dr. Boateng is well versed in the latest treatment options available for common urological conditions such as urological cancers, prostate enlargement (BPH), kidney stone disease, and erectile dysfunction (ED). Dr. Boateng is an active member of several medical societies including the American Urologic Association and the American Medical Association.
