Russell Freid, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Russell M. Freid received his bachelor of arts degree from George Washington University in 1988. He then went on to begin medical training at Hahnemann University of Medicine where he received his medical degree in 1992. Dr. Freid completed a residency in urologic surgery and urology at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center. During his urology residency, Dr. Freid was awarded the William Seery Urology Resident of the Year award three times.
Dr. Freid is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Freid also belongs to several medical societies which include: the American Urological Association; American Association of Clinical Urologists; and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Freid manages patients with all urological conditions. He has special interest in Urological Oncology, Stone Disease and Female Urology. He performs a wide range of minimally invasive procedures including Robotic Laparoscopic Surgery.
